Dear Members, Sponsors and Supporters:
As we reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future, I am filled with a sense of gratitude for the incredible work of the board, member volunteers, and staff to further improve the value, education, services, and networking delivered to the CII Council membership. We aim to not only continue this trend but to increase that value throughout 2024.
Looking ahead, we have ambitious goals for the coming year. We plan to expand our programs by introducing a “Member Focus” meeting, which will replace a ‘broker open’ every quarter. As usual, these events will continue to be held on the 3rd Wednesday morning of each month. The ongoing series intends to highlight each of the professional disciplines in our charter, allowing each group to enlighten the general membership on its latest trends and provide insight into the ways and means of its practices. The first of the series is scheduled for January 17th and will focus on today’s challenges in property Appraisal. Note: our second “Member Focus” meeting is scheduled for May 15th and will discuss the current Lending environment.
The Board has also approved funds to overhaul our website, making it more user-friendly and interactive. For those with real estate licenses, a 7-credit Continuing Education class is scheduled for April 5.
You can find our calendar on our website: www.ciicouncil.com/events/ including the Annual Meeting, the Fall Developer’s Forum, our Annual Members Only Holiday Party, and of course, our 2 Members Only Happy Hours. Mark your calendar, the first CII happy hour of ’24 is occurring on its founding anniversary – Leap Day – February 29!
Most importantly, I would like to extend gratitude to our generous sponsors. Your contributions have made a significant difference in the Council’s ability to provide expanded programs. Your belief in the Council and your continued support are invaluable to our success.
In closing, I am excited about the forthcoming changes in 2024 to our organization and look forward to seeing everyone throughout the year.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Best regards,
Theo P. Notaras
