CII kicked off 2024 with a new event series titled “Member Focus”. The series, aimed at highlighting the professions of our membership, will replace one ‘Broker Open Breakfast Meeting’ each quarter.  The series will continue to be held on the 3rd Wednesday morning of each month.  The ongoing series will enable the various professions of our charter to educate our general membership on the latest trends and insights of its practice. 

The first of the series was held January 17th at the Boys Scouts building located in Exton and highlighted the Appraisal segment of our membership profession and today’s challenges in the profession. Despite what felt like sub-zero temperatures, 2 hour school delays, dead car batteries, and warming up the car endlessly for an early morning meeting, the turnout was great and the feedback even better! Learning about appraisals of office space buildings post-covid and section 8 were among the discussion points. Ample time for Q&A along with networking, and of course hot coffee and food, left members asking for more and volunteering for future focus topics!

The next “Member Focus” meeting is scheduled for May 15th and will discuss the current Lending environment. Another CII event not to be missed – head over to the calendar and register today!
